Last April, Oriental Market was once again present at Alimentaria. The leading food, beverage and gastronomy fair in Spain and in the Mediterranean arc, and an international benchmark for the sector. This year Oriental Market collaborated with many professionals of the sector. We opened the 4 days of the fair with a small tasting of Hakutsuru Sakes by Roger Ortuño from ComerJapones.com. In order to taste some of the most outstanding Sakes of the moment, there was a cocktail tasting by a specialised cocktail maker, who while preparing the cocktail commented on the best tricks to get the best flavours and cocktails. Next, Oriental Market had the honour of having the chef of the Royal Thai Embassy, who together with his team, gave a different and delicious demonstration of traditional Thai recipes, such as the exquisite Pad Thai, Tom Cha Kai or a delicious Gaeng Khiao Wan.
It is worth mentioning that the kitchen of the stand was working full-time, attracting the attention of all the attendees. Among all the recipes, the sushi platters undoubtedly stood out, but they were not the only ones, other products that stood out throughout the fair were gyozas, instant noodles, Tiger beer, sauces, etc. Ah! And the best oriental sweets, the mochis, could not be missing. In addition, we baked some small cakes made with the star product of the season, the new ROTI PARATHA from the Spring Home brand.
